Asahi Kasei Medical Co.，Ltd. is pleased to announce that the first Planova™ Workshop India will take place on January 31, 2013 at the Taj Exotica in Goa.

In India, the biopharmaceutical industry is growing strongly. The development of biosimilars is accelerating at many pharmaceutical companies and Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs). In addition, preparations for the self-production of plasma derivatives are ongoing in India. In these circumstances, the need for virus removal filters is becoming greater and greater.

Planova™ filters were launched in 1989 as the first filters developed specifically for removing viruses from biotherapeutic drugs such as biopharmaceuticals and plasma derivatives. Planova™ filters have two decades of proven safety and reliability in the international biopharmaceuticals industry, including India.

In this workshop, more than 10 presentations covering examples of the use of Planova™ filters will be given. This workshop is an excellent chance for attendees to exchange information with industry experts and become acquainted with Planova™ filters and related technical services.
