The EU Directive 2002/96/EC of the European Parliament and the EU Council on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and the revised EU Directive 2012/19/EU impose a number of obligations to producers of electrical and electronical equipment (EEE) in order to improve the collection and recycling of the EEE once it reaches the end of life and becomes waste.

Asahi Kasei Bioprocess Europe has concluded a recycling agreement with the European Advanced Recycling Network (EARN Elektroaltgeräte Service GmbH) so to organize the transport, preparation for re-use, recycling, and recovery of WEEE with certified recycling partners.

- Asahi Kasei Bioprocess Europe is registered in Germany with WEEE registration number DE 10113383.
- For your information: For Belgium and the Netherlands the responsible registration authority does not assign a WEEE registration number.

- used batteries should be removed from the Controller and recycled separately
- please delete your personal data before recycling the PLT
