Products & Services WEEE Compliance

The EU Directive 2002/96/EC of the European Parliament and the EU Council on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and the revised EU Directive 2012/19/EU impose a number of obligations to producers of electrical and electronical equipment (EEE) in order to improve the collection and recycling of the EEE once it reaches the end of life and becomes waste.

We at Asahi Kasei Bioprocess take our responsibility seriously and are committed to comply with all applicable WEEE requirements and legislations.
Our Planova Leak Tester is defined as electrical and electronical equipment (EEE) and is marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol to indicate that it is covered by the WEEE Directive and must not be disposed of with household waste.
We have registered in Member States according to the WEEE legislation requirements:
  • Asahi Kasei Bioprocess Europe is registered in Ireland with the PRL number 3642WB.
  • Asahi Kasei Bioprocess Europe is registered in Germany with WEEE registration number DE 10113383.
